Saturday Date Night

It has been a long time since Jessica and I have been able to have a Saturday night off together. In the old days, we would've probably gone to a sushi date at Yoko and tried to catch a movie at Fallen Timbers. But, with the little man now running the house, things change. And for the better. So I made her a nice little dinner of lamb shanks, sweet corn, and spanish rice. We ate while watching out little man try his hardest to roll over. He did it a few times (Miranda may have helped get him over once) and we showered plenty of praise. We watched one of our favorite movies, The Other Guys, and laughed until it was time for bed. It was a great date night.
